Police have arrested a 33-year-old man from Port Colborne after responding to a call from a local business early Tuesday morning. Staff called police because the man was acting suspiciously while trying to make a purchase with a debit card. After an investigation, police found he was trying to use a stolen debit card and charged him with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, three counts of procure to possess identity document and failure to comply with a probation order. The man was held in custody for a bail hearing scheduled for yesterday.
