A Niagara College soccer player has received a prestigious honour from the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.

Jordi Amores has been named a Men’s Soccer All-Canadian for 2018. He accepted his award at a banquet in Charlottetown P.E.I. earlier this week.

He is the 15th Niagara College athlete to be honoured by the association; but the first soccer player.

Amores would like to thank the rest of the Knights team.

“Being the first soccer player at Niagara to win the All-Canadian award would not have been possible without my Knights family. I would like to express my humble and sincere gratitude to all my soccer teammates and coaches for all the support and trust they provided day in and day out.”

Amores has been attending Niagara for the past five years. He graduated the Graphic Design program in 2017 and currently studying in the Business, Sales and Marketing program.
